Hometour Ruud en Roel
For this inside view, we are guests of Ruud & Roel in Den Bosch. Take a look inside their beautiful coach house with us.
Ruud: ‘When this old coach house from 1900 came on the market, we quickly took the plunge. The basis was perfect for an eclectic interior with a mix of design, IKEA and thrift store finds. We combined bold and subdued colours to create a positive and playful atmosphere. This only works if you work with unique pieces that are not produced in large editions, and items that have already acquired some character over the years.
Tonone's BOLT series, with its fine colourways, allows you to give each space a slightly different atmosphere, while still maintaining a uniform look. The slender, industrial and straightforward style suits us well. We've had the lamps in our home for years now, and still don't get tired of them.’

Tonone colors
When Bolt saw the light in 2013, it was black - Smokey Black. Tough, industrial and simply a perfect match for the lamp's design. But more new colors entered the Bolt palette. Pure White (white) and Lightning White (creamy white), Midnight Grey (dark grey) and Ash Grey (ash grey), Striking Orange (orange), Flux Green (moss green) and Thunder Blue (dark blue). For each color, inspiration came from everyday life. Often from nature, but art also proved an important source of new ideas. Later, Sunny Yellow (yellow), Daybreak Rose (pink) and Ice Blue (ice blue) were added.
As a future owner, a difficult task awaits you. Choosing.
Bolt doesn't make it easy for you. Each color has its own charm. Will you go
for unity and tranquillity, letting the light take the lead? Or may your lamp
stand its ground and stand out above the crowd? It is time to choose your
color. To
help you on your way, inspiration pages made from the Bolt colors.
