Sustainability and lighting
In a world where sustainability is becoming increasingly important, lighting is an element where opportunities exist. Traditional lighting methods have a significant impact on our environment, but by making conscious choices in lighting, we can take a big step toward a more sustainable future. Tonone combines sustainability with innovation and aesthetics.
Conscious use of lamps
An important step toward sustainability in lighting is the conscious use of lamps in the home and at work. This means turning on lamps only when needed and turning them off as soon as you leave a room. Unnecessarily burning bulbs waste energy and contribute to higher energy bills and a larger carbon footprint. By simply developing the habit of turning off lights in unused rooms, you can contribute significantly to energy conservation and environmental protection. This awareness can be further supported by the use of motion sensors and timers, which automatically control lighting based on presence and time, further reducing energy waste.
Smart lighting is also a sustainable solution. With smart technology, lights can be programmed to turn on and off automatically depending on the presence of people in the room, the time of day or even the amount of natural light available. Smart lighting solutions can usually be controlled with your smartphone or even with your voice.
Dimmers: customized lighting
Another important aspect of sustainability and lighting is the use of dimmers. Dimmers make it easy to adjust the intensity of the light according to the needs of the moment, which not only creates a pleasant atmosphere but also contributes to energy savings. By reducing the light intensity, the lamp uses less energy, which directly results in lower energy costs and longer lamp life.
Tonone offers a range of lighting products that are compatible with dimmers. Want to receive more information about dimmers? Contact our customer service team by emailing info@tonone.com or take a look at FAQ.
Tonone and LED lighting
LED lighting is undoubtedly the future of sustainable lighting. LED bulbs are more energy efficient and have a longer lifespan than traditional incandescent and energy-saving bulbs. Where a traditional incandescent bulb lasts only 1,000 hours, an LED bulb can last up to 25,000 hours. This means not only less waste, but also lower energy requirements in the long run.
Tonone uses LED lighting in their designer table lamps, designer floor lamps, wall lamps and pendant lamps, among others.
Beads
For
example, the Beads is characterized by its rotating and tilting
LED ring. The high-quality integrated LED light source is dimmable and the
warmth of the light has a range from 2100K to 3000K.
Mr. Tubes
Looking for
an LED lamp with an industrial look? Then Mr. Tubes is exactly what you are looking for. The LED
tube developed by Tonone gives 360 degrees of uniform light due to the more
than a thousand LEDs per meter. The lamp is dimmable and thanks to the
adjustable steel cables, the lamp can be hung at any height.
ONE
The ONE is a portable design lamp with LED lighting.
The built-in battery provides you with a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 30 hours
of light. The spotlight is available with various fixtures, to which you can
easily charge the lamp. This basically makes you only need one ONE to use in
different places. The LED bulb provides warm white light in the
color temperature 2700k.
Bridge
Finally,
there is Bridge, a linear pendant lamp made from recycled
plexiglass. The pendant lamp comes in striking neon colors. Bridge contains LED
lighting and applicable with different types of dimmers.
