Since 4 years, Choly and her family have been living in a beautiful old farmhouse, in the heart of Brabant, in the middle of the drop, near Den Bosch. Before they lived in a modern house. When this house was finished, they felt like strangers in their own home. Sleek and clean did not really suit them at all. So they went looking for an 'old' house. When they decorated their previous house, they consciously chose a sustainable basis. "It's better to save for a while than to take a quick fix, so the furniture, tables and chairs are already 10-15 years old and still as beautiful as when we bought them." The furniture now looks much better. The contrast of an old house with a modern interior enhances the beauty in each other.

Over the years - and thanks to a circle of artist friends - Choly has put almost every euro she had to spare into art, both at auctions and from friends' collections. By now, it has become quite a collection. What always bothered her and what she never really got excited about was the lighting. According to Choly, it should be like a beautiful piece of jewellery; complementary to the whole and a beautiful piece in its own right. Just like art. "I remember well when I first saw a design lamp by Tonone, I was immediately hooked. In the meantime, I have quite a few design lamps and it is exactly as it should be, a jewel that enhances the whole."

The Bolt Desk Small 1 arm in Midnight Grey (dark grey) is placed on a beautiful antique glass cabinet. A great example of mixing old and new. In the living room next to the TV a Bolt floorlamp in Daybreak Rose (pink). The Ella has a beautiful place on the sideboard. In the playroom there is a Bolt Floor 2 arm in Smokey Black (black). In Choly's office there is a Bolt Desk lamp in Sunny Yellow (yellow).
