A GLASS COLLECTION INSPIRED BY THE SEA
Tonone introduces Razor, a new collection made from curved textured glass, designed by Anton de Groof. The collection is inspired by the razor shell, a long, narrow shell often found along the Dutch coast. The elegant, slightly curved shape of the shell is the starting point for this family of lamps.
Razor translates the shape of the shell into glass. The curved lines refer to the soft shape of the razor shell. The textures in the glass are inspired by the surface of the sea, shaped by wind, movement and reflections of light.
When the lamp is switched on, the light brings the texture of the glass to life. It creates a warm and layered effect of light, depth and shadow. Even when the lamp is switched off, Razor remains a distinctive object in the room.
