Hometour Marijn
Visiting a special home in De Rijp! A few years ago, interior designer Marijn van Mei for You, Edgar and their two children traded Amsterdam for De Rijp. They went to live in a beautiful national monument. A classic building from 1749, in which not just anything can be changed. Nothing more fun for Marijn to give this house full of old elements yet a modern look and feel. By experimenting with colors, combining old and new materials and adding modern art, an original and contemporary atmosphere was created in the house.

"As an interior designer, I have a soft spot for modern design, preferably of Dutch origin. In that respect, Tonone's lamps are a hit and a perfect addition to our home. I have a weakness for green, pink and yellow and prefer to use them throughout the house. That way it creates unity and tranquility. Then I like to add a bright color, like fluorescent pink or in this case Tonone's bright orange (Striking Orange) lamp, and the interior comes to life."
